Roxanne Sarthou’s journey in community leadership began with a simple desire to give back. Today, she is the National President of the Filipino Communities Council of Australia, Inc. (FILCCA), the leading umbrella body connecting Filipino organisations across Australia. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Filipino Community Council of Victoria, Inc. (FCCVi), the umbrella organisation supporting Filipino communities throughout Victoria. From her early days volunteering on the ground to leading national and state-level initiatives, Roxanne has dedicated herself to nurturing connection, resilience, and opportunity within the Filipino community.

With over 20 years of experience in finance and business management, Roxanne brings strategic and values-led leadership to the community sector. Under her guidance, FCCVi has become the largest Filipino charity in Australia, expanding its reach and impact in aged care, food security, and community development. She also serves on the Victorian Multicultural Commission Regional Advisory Council, contributing to policy discussions and regional advocacy.

A passionate champion of multiculturalism and Filipino community empowerment, Roxanne’s work has earned wide recognition. She is a Multicultural Excellence Award recipient and, in 2025, was inducted into the Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll for her outstanding contribution to inclusive leadership and community service.
