Cristina Thomson, FILCCA Vice President (Internal), moved to Australia at 21 and began volunteering soon after. She remains an active member and president of the Samar and Leyte Association and Kababaihang Maka-Rizal, who organised the play Malolos Women to keep the stories of our ancestors alive. Cristina is known for opening her home to newly arrived Filipinos, offering shelter and support as they settle into life in Australia.

As FILCCA Vice President, she looks forward to working with the team to guide the younger generation to carry our stories and represent the Filipino community with pride.
