Filipino-Australian Leaders to Gather for the 17th Biennial National Filipino Conference on the Gold Coast
Gold Coast, Australia – The Filipino Communities Council of Australia (FILCCA) proudly announces the 17th Biennial National Filipino Conference, to be held from 10-12 October 2025, at Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
The three-day event will unite Filipino-Australian leaders, professionals, and community members from across Australia and overseas for dialogue, collaboration, and celebration of Filipino heritage and shared futures.
Program Highlights
Day 1 – Friday, 10 October 2025
- Welcome Reception (3:00–7:00 PM): Acknowledgement of Country, Welcome by the Mayor of Gold Coast City, and attendance by dignitaries including the Philippine Ambassador to Australia, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMV), Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), and the Philippine Department of Tourism.
- Community Forum: “Voices and Vision” followed by networking and socials.
Day 2 – Saturday, 11 October 2025

Conference Proper (7:30 AM–4:30 PM): Featuring panel discussions on Social
Development, Skills and Economic Advancement, and Global Impact and Trade.

Gala Night & Awards (6:00–11:00 PM): Honouring outstanding achievements, including
the Filipino-Australian of the Year Award, with cultural showcases, music, and
dancing.
Day 3 – Sunday, 12 October 2025
- Sunday Mass (7:00–8:00 AM) at The Guardian Angel Church, Southport.
- FILCCA AGM & Election of Officers (9:00–11:00 AM).
- Optional cultural tours of the Gold Coast in the afternoon.
